TOBOUGG ex KALLISTA'S PRIDE

‘JOY’ was born to Kallista’s Pride in April 2007.  She is a fine filly and we are hoping for big things from her.  Her sire Tobougg was third in one of the fastest ever run Derby races winning a total of 3 races and being placed 6 times and collecting over £742,000 in prize money.  Kallista's Pride won 7 and was placed 11 times from 52 starts. 

JOY went into the racing yard in the spring of 2009 but it was decided that she would benefit from a bit more time to grow and strengthen.  She has spent a fun summer in the field and has returned to the yard this week where she will shortly be broken and commence her training.  She is still on the small side but what she lacks in the size department she makes up for in the attitude one which should stand her in good stead on the race course.

Purchasing a share in ‘Joy’ should be seen as a purchase for fun and interest sake.  She is not insured and therefore if she does not make it to the race track then whilst some pre-paid maintenance might be refundable the cost of the share will not be. 

This is a good opportunity to get right in at the start of racing – although if you would like to take a step further back you can always purchase a share in the broodmares themselves which gives you shares in all future foals and involvement in choosing future sires for progeny – and allows you to be involved with a racing string from day one.

We are offering two sizes of share – 1/100^th and 1/400^th – and the purchase price includes all maintenance for one full year
